Jules Pappaert known as ''Pataat'', was a Belgian footballer born 5 November 1905 in Saint-Gilles (Belgium), died 30 December 1945. He was a defender and captain of Union Saint-Gilloise in the 1930s.〔(Player page at unionhisto.skynetblogs.be )〕 He was Belgian champion three times consecutively from 1933 to 1935. Union were unbeated for 60 matches.
